Obituary
Mrs. Elma Giannoni Myers, 86, of 68 Smith St, Hartwell, died Friday, June 19 at St. Mary's Hospice House, Bogart GA.
Born on July 29, 1922 in Barre, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Giannoni and Victoria Cecchini Giannoni.She was Secretary & Treasurer of GOCO. Inc. and a member of the Good Sheppard Fellowship of Hartwell.
She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Myers of Hartwell and Britt Myers and his wife Cindy of Hartwell; four grandchildren, Harley Myers, Colby Myers, Jeremy Myers and Lauren Myers also survive. She was preceded in death by husband, Former Hartwell Mayor, Thomas E. Myers and a grandson, Justin P. Myers.
Graveside services will Sunday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary McCurley officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel. The family is at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Rd, Bogart GA30622.
