Mrs. Emily (Watts) Stovall, age 87, of Hartwell, died Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Hart Care Center.
Born December 21, 1926, in Canon, she was the daughter of the late: Arthur Rutledge and Willie Mae (Cash) Watts. She was a supervisor for Stone Apparel Company and was a member of Whitworth Women's Club. Mrs. Stovall was a member of New Franklin Christian Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Dwight & Rebecca Stovall and Wesley & Connie Stovall; grandson: Brian & Brooke Stovall; great grandsons: Greyson Stovall & Carson Thompson; sister and brother-in-law: June & Charles Cobb. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Trav Thomas Stovall and sister Melba Peeples
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the New Franklin Christian Church with Rev. Carl Beckham officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made to New Franklin Christian Church 4244 New Franklin Church Road Canon, GA 30520.
