Mrs. Emma "Polly" Parrett Mattingly, 85, of Hartwell, died Friday, July 20 at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville SC.

Born on September 13, 1926 in Bond KY, she was the daughter of the late Charley Parrett and Mona Moore Parrett.She was a retired supervisor for Western Electric / ATT and a member of the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Cora P. Smith of London KY and Ethel P. Blake and her husband Don of Miamisburg OH; two brothers, Charley Parrett Jr. and his wife Donna of Ninava IN and Dan Parrett of Germantown OH; several nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James William "Bill" Mattingly and two sisters, Rosie Parrett and Randa P. Browning.

A funeral mass will be on Tuesday, July 24 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Walter Foley officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
