Mrs. Emma Eloise Gillespie Seeley, age 93 of 1744 Kesler Road, Canon, Ga., died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at her residence.

Born on October 2, 1914 in Bay City MI, she was the daughter of the late James Gillespie and Agnes Willet Gillespie.She was a retired bookkeeper for Singer Company, member of the Church of God, Bay City Mi, AARP and attended the Hartwell First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughter: Arleen DePeal of Canon; two sons: Ronald Dolsen of Bay City MI and Donald Dolsen of Carolina, Puerto Rico; a brother: Byron Gillespie of Bay City MI; two sisters: Marian Taylor of Bay City MI and Eva Arthur of Coleman MI; twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her husband: G. Oliver Seeley and a great-granddaughter: Jennifer DePeal.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Steven Nelms officiating.Burial will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Bay City MI.
