Mr. Emmett Wayford White, age 84, of 1496 North Forest Ave, Hartwell, GA, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Cobb Memorial Hospital, Royston, GA.
Born March 6, 1926 in Hartwell, Georgia, he was the son of the late Pete Jackson White and Rosa Estelle Welborn White.He was the owner of White's Refrigeration & Appliance.He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Brown White of the home and a daughter, Joy B. White of Hartwell, GA.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.The family is at the home.The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to defray funeral and medical expenses.
