Eric Ryan Vaughn, 43, of St. Augustine, FL, passed away on March 22, 2025. Born in Toccoa, GA, and raised in Lavonia, GA, Eric lived a life filled with passion and interests.

He was an avid fisherman, enthusiastic boater, dedicated coon hunter, and a devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan. A true jack of all trades, Eric possessed remarkable skills in everything he pursued. He went on to own his own HVAC company and later continued his career in the HVAC industry in Florida, he was highly regarded for his expertise in installation and repair, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Eric will always remember his joyful spirit and the warmth he brought to every gathering. He cherished his family in Georgia and eagerly looked forward to spending quality time with loved ones during his visits home. Eric held everyone in high regard, speaking fondly of those around him, and deeply valued his relationships with family and friends.

Preceding Eric in passing are his maternal grandparents, Shelton and Margaret (Polly) Whitworth of Lavonia, GA, and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Joanne Vaughn of Lavonia, GA.

Eric leaves behind his beloved wife, Kim Lane Vaughn, and his daughters, Emily, Alissa, and Kaylee of St. Augustine, FL. He cherished his biological children, Madison and Chandler of Royston, GA. Additionally, he is survived by his parents, Gwen Whitworth Vaughn and her spouse Mike Thornton of Lavonia, GA, as well as Kenneth Ronnie Vaughn and his spouse Michelle Vaughn of Palm Coast, FL. Eric will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Cory Vaughn, and his spouse Brittany Haley, his niece, Sawyer Grace Vaughn of Lavonia, his sister, Rhonda Haley of Royston, GA, and countless family and friends in both Georgia and Florida.

His legacy of kindness, passion, and dedication will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege to know and love him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 26th 2025 at 2pm at T&S Skating Rink, 246 Jackson Bridge Rd, Canon, GA 30520.
