Mrs. Ernestine Holloway McCurley, 83, of 480 McCurley Road, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born April 21, 1925 in Barrow County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest E. Holloway and Claribel Odum Holloway.She was retired from the Hartwell Garment Company and was a member of Winder First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by:Husband of 66 years, Roy McCurley; Sons, Jerry McCurley of Hartwell, GA and Larry McCurley of Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Ann Guill and her husband Ray of Fayetteville, GA, Janice Lee and her husband Dillard of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Jean DeLay and her husband Billy of Statham, GA; Grandchildren, Tim Guill, Amy McBeath, Marc Johnson and Curt Johnson; Great grandchildren, Cody, Crystal, Abbey, Erin, Kyla, Erika, Hunter and Ella.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
