Esther Ruth (Saylors) Hyde, age 84, of Canon, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.
Born July 6, 1935, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late John Ben Saylors and Pearl (Brady) Saylors. She was a homemaker and textile worker. Mrs. Hyde was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: William David Hyde and William Clayton King; son: Joey Hyde; brothers: Ben Saylors, Leon Saylors, and Lawrence Saylors; sister: Blanche Burden; and granddaughter: Tiffany Hyde.
She is survived by her children: James Hyde & wife, Dean, Melinda Hyde Capes, and Miranda Fleming & husband, Todd; brother: Joe Saylors; grandchildren: Kyle Starr, Brittany Ginn, Kayla Watson, and Cory Hyde; and seven great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Franklin County Senior Center, 6885 GA-145, Carnesville, GA 30521.
