Mrs. Ethel Richardson Brake, 79, of 624 W. Howell Street, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.

Born August 7, 1929 in Elliott, ME, she was the daughter of the late Willis L. Richardson and Lillian Dixon Richardson.She was a homemaker and of the Adventist Faith.

She is survived by:Sons, Arthur W. Brake, Jr. of Kittery, ME, Steven Brake of Lebanon, ME, William Brake of Bull Head, AZ and Jeffery Brake of Kittery, ME; Daughters, Geraldine Dewett of Lebanon, ME and Jeannette Bartow of Davison, NC; Brother, Elmer Richardson of S.Elliott, ME; Sister, Evelyn Rowan of Rondo Beach, CA; Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survives.She is preceded in death by Parents; Husband, Arthur W. Brake, Sr. and Brother, Gerald Richardson.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Marilyn Krebs will officiate. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC29621.
