Mr. Eugene Roy "Duff" Field, 75, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on March 16, 1940 in Oneonta, NY, he was the son of the late Paul E. Field and Hazel McKnight Field.Mr. Field received a Master's Degree from the State University of New York, at Oswego and was a retired teacher with the West Genesee Central Schools in Camillus, NY. He was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church and the Hartwell Golf Club where he also volunteered.

Survivors include his wife: Nancy Amedro Field; one son: Edward Field and his wife Karen of Tega Cay, SC; two daughters: Lori L. Pilon and her husband Mark of Newnan, GA and Kathleen Field Bardell and her husband Michael of Alpharetta, GA; six grandchildren: Matthieu Pilon, Madeleine Pilon, Sarah Field, Michael Field, Beau Bardell and Claire Bardell; one sister: Patricia Taylor of The Villages, FL.Mr. Field was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister: Sandra Schopinsky.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 12:00 noon at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. Allen Stewart officiating.A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.
