Mrs. Eula McGill Hall, 90, of Fairview Ave. Hartwell, GA, formerly of Iva, SC, died Thursday, August 24 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born on August 30, 1915 in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ira Lucius McGill and Pamela Frances Gaines McGill.He was retired from Jackson Mills, where she was a Spinner, a member of the Hebron United Methodist Church and participated in senior citizens activities in Iva.
She is survived by a son: James M. Hall and his wife Judy of Columbia SC and a daughter: Anne Hicks and her husband Bennie of Bowersville GA; two brothers: Lucius Clarence "Pete" McGill of Iva SC and James McGill of Belton SC; a sister: Nancy Eileen Moreau of Lafayette LA; four grandchildren: Kathy Reed, Michael Hicks, Jeffrey Hall and Martin Hall; a great-grandson: Brandon Reed also survives.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: George J. Hall and three sisters: Jean McGill, Lucille Crisp and Marcie Bryant.
Funeral service will be Sunday, August 27 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Doug Brown officiating.Burial will be in the Iva City Cemetery, Iva, SC.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Anne & Bennie Hicks, 56 Jud Cole Road, Bowersville, GA.
