Obituary
Mrs. Eula Mae Isom Skelton, 91, of 2696 Bill Brown Cove., Hiawassee GA, formerly of Second St. Hartwell, died Saturday, December 30 at Chatuga Regional Nursing Home.
Born on December 9, 1915 in Hart Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Grover C. Isom and Ruby Vickery Isom.She was a retired sales clerk for Economy Drug Store, former lunchroom lady at Hart Co. High School and a seamstress.She was a member of the Hartwell First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law: Barbara W. Skelton of Hiawassee; a sister: Mildred Bowers of Hartwell, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her husband: Samuel Edward "Ed Sam" Skelton; son: Samuel Edward "Ed" Skelton Jr.; a sister: Mary Frances Mouchet and three brothers: Frank Isom, John Walker Isom and Emil Isom.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 3 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
