Mrs. Eunice Mae (Wright) Brown, age 84, of Lavonia, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Stephens County Hospital.
Born October 28, 1929, in Crawford, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dozier and Carlee (Foster) Wright.She worked as a seamstress at Carwood for 25 years. Mrs. Brown was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter: Kathy Hallford & Perry; sons: Larry Brown & Brenda, Gary Brown & Pamela; grandchildren: Kelly Parker, Kim Rice, Jason Brown, Amanda Martin, Jessica Klein, Matthew Brown, April Roberts, Adam Hallford, Chad Brown, Jennifer Balatbat and 29 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Hosie Brown; daughter: Vickie Ann Brown; grandsons: Anthony Hallford and Derrick Garland; brothers: Truman Wright, Melvin Wright and Thomas "T. B." Wright; sisters: Idell Thomas and Louise Wright
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hulsey and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.At other times the families will be at their respective homes.
