Obituary

Mrs. Eva Dickerson Crocker, 79, of Beacon Light Road, Hartwell, wife of "Buddy" Crocker, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson SC.

Born on June 27, 1937 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas "Tommy" Dickerson and Addie Jones Dickerson.Mrs. Crocker was a former employee of several garment plants and retired from Springs Industries.She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Lamar "Buddy" Crocker; two daughters: Sharon Morris (Bobby) and Jane Crocker both of Hartwell; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Crocker was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Tommy Crocker; seven brothers: John A. Dickerson, Strawder Dickerson, Sanford Dickerson, Glenn Dickerson, Tommy Dickerson, Murray Dickerson, Nepear Dickerson; two sisters: Josie Lafortune and Jessie Mae Dickerson.

Graveside services will be Friday April 21, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with the Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.The family is at the home of Bobby and Sharon Morris, 850 Morris Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
