Mrs. Eva (Whiting) Payne, age 60, of Martin, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at her home.
Born June 12, 1959, in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Severnell (Bratcher) Whiting. She was a home health care nurse with Tugaloo Home Health and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband: Jackie Lee Payne of Martin; children: Wendy Brown, Tara Degrave, Rachel Akin, Adrian Payne, Kayla Payne, Kristy Rice and Paul Akin; grandchildren: Madison Degrave, Masson Degrave, Caleb Brown and Bentley Bolmon; sister: Beverly Brown; niece: Alyssa Connell; and sister-in-law: Lisa Connell & Scott.
The family has requested cremation and no formal services are planned at this time.
