Evelyn Virginia (Oliver) Ethridge, age 91, of Stone Mountain, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at High Shoals Health & Rehab in Bishop, GA.

Born December 30, 1930 in Carnesville, she was the daughter of the late William Harrison and Lela Ann (Woodward) Oliver. Mrs. Ethridge was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law: Marshall Paul & Melissa Shockley Ethridge of Stone Mountain; granddaughter: Veronica Shockley of London, England; brother: Burton Oliver of Bowie, MD; sister-in-law: Kate Ethridge of Alabama; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Horace Ethridge; sisters: Ovilene Craft, Phyllis Oliver, Morine Douglas & Dorothy Purcell; brothers: Joe Oliver, Lester Oliver, James Oliver, Sam Oliver & Paul Jones Oliver.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4, 2022, at Middle River Baptist Church Cemetery with Deacon Greg Ollick officiating.
