Mrs. Evelyn Jane "Eve" Dunlap, 70, of Dewdrop Circle, Hartwell, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Cobb Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 3, 1941 in Mahon, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Richard Dent and Eleanor Grimmel Dent.She was retired from the Huddle House as a waitress and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond L. Dunlap of the home; four sons: William Gollihue of Grove City, OH, Raymond Dunlap, Jr., of Cleveland, GA, Ronald Dunlap of Cornelia, GA, and Chuck Black of Hartwell; four daughters: Vickie Russell of Oxon Hill, MD, Tammy Pierce of Monroe, GA, Tammy Rankin of Clarkesville, GA, and Bobi Hoffmann of Hoschton, GA; one brother, John Dent of Lawrenceville, GA; one sister, Patsy Reynolds of Revenna, OH; twenty-two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs Dunlap was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Sam Dulaney officiating.Burial will be at Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.The family is at the home.
