Mrs. Evelyn Settle, age 80, formerly of Lavonia, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pruitt Health of Toccoa.
Born November 25, 1937, in Gordon, AL, she was the daughter of the late Marcus and Leona Mc Alpin. She wasthe former owner of A-1 boats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands: Gary E. Cooper and Claude Settle, a daughter: Cynthia Phillips. She is survived by her son: Tommy Cooper; grandsons: Matthew Royston and Seth Cooper; and sister: Annette Watford.
Mrs. Settle's wishes were to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held 4 pm, Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Stephens Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Masonic Home of Georgia, P.O.
