Everlee Jayde Newbern, infant daughter of Levi and Kelsey (Watkins) Newbern of Lavonia, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at her home. She was born June 11, 2018 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother: Nicholas Newbern; sister: Rhylie Buffington; grandparents: Brandy Pointer, John Watkins, Tim & Peggy Stephens, and Raymond Newbern; great-grandparents: Randy & Joyce Pointer, Belinda Edwards, Jerry Watkins, and Diane Stancil; aunt: Chelsey Watkins; and uncles: Ethan Watkins and Ray Newbern.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Rev. Randy Pointer officiating. Burial will follow in the Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the service.
