Obituary
Mr. Floyd Lucius Temples, Jr., age 76, of 37 Gloria Dr., Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at his home.
Born April 1, 1931 in Hart County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Floyd L. Temples, Sr. and Evelyn Vassar Temples.He was a self employed Paint Contractor and a Bus Driver for Dekalb County. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and the Couples 2 Sunday School Class.
His survivors include:Wife, Bobbie Ann Slater Temples of the home; Sons, Ricky Temples an his wife Lana of Dallas, GA, and Barry Temples and his wife Micki of Dunwoody, GA; Daughters, Traci Temples Ricks and her husband Artis of Temple, GA and Renee Davis and her husband Brad of Woodland, AL; Sister, Frances T. Crowe of Hartwell, GA; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George "Pete" Neese and his sister, Myrtle Temples Baker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church.Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. Bill Davidson will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
