Fay Allen Vanadore, 87 of Starr, SC passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born December 25, 1934, in Hartwell, GA, she was a daughter of the late Grady Allen and Mabel Hembree Allen.

She retired from AnMed Health Medical Center and FCX and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Joe R. "Bobby" Vanadore; sisters, Imogene Allen Bouchillon, sisters-in-law, Mary Sue Allen and Mary Ann Allen and granddaughter, Laura Debruhl.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ligon Vanadore; brothers, Broadus Harold Allen, Francis Benson Allen, Willie Fred Allen and sister-in-law, Betty Floyd Allen.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45pm on Friday, August 5, 2022 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Pickens officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Memorial Gardens, Starr.
