Mrs. Faye Williamson Allen, 68, of Shirley Road, Bowersville, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at St. Joe Beach, FL.

Born on November 2, 1949 in Arcade, GA, she was the daughter of the late James Boyce Williamson and Stella Elizabeth Cooper Williamson.Mrs. Allen was a retired school counselor for Hartwell Elementary School. She was a member of the Gateway Believers Fellowship and was active in the children's ministry.

Survivors include one son: Rick Allen and Jill of South Miami Beach, FL; two daughters: Vicki A. Marinell and Mike of Bowersville, GA and Rebecca Hart and Warren of Canon, GA; three sisters: Martha Wright of Lavonia, GA, Mary Williamson ofMichigan, and Annie Gurley of Jefferson, GA; sixteen grandchildren: John, Katti, Leah, Ben, Zach, Riah, Anah, Josh, Lexie, Bella, Brandon, Isaiah, Chase, Lindsey, Johnny, and Kellie; and six great grandchildren: Emma Grace, Logan, Mason, Connor, Lincoln, and Sam. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Richard A. Allen; one daughter: Penny Allen Vaughn; and her brothers: Gene and David Williamson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Believers Fellowship in Carnesville, GA with Apostle David Coker, Pastor Andy Coker, and Pastor Bill Avant officiating.Burial will be in the Bowersville City Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.The family will be at the home of Mrs. Allen, 306 Shirley Road, Bowersville, GA.
