Mrs. Flora Schultz Holland, 92, of 133 Flora Lane, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Hart County Hospital.
Born May 27, 1914 in Hart County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Otto H. Schultz and Augusta Ebernickel Schultz.She was a housewife, seamstress and was employed with Hartwell Garment for 45 years.She was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church, the church choir, WMU, Charter Member of the Golden Agers and the Flora Holland Sunday School Class.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.She is survived by:Sons, Parker Holland and Larry Holland both of Hartwell, GA; Daughter, Margaret Martin of Hartwell, GA, Six grandchildren, Donald Martin who preceded her in death, Carol Martin, Crystal Fowler, Wendell Holland, Dennis Holland and Dale Holland; Seven great grandchildren, Chris Martin, Jill Martin, Katelyn Holland, Holland Fowler, Avery, Alayna and Ethan Holland.She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Truman Holland, Four brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church.Rev. Sam Dulaney, Rev. Jason Danuser and Rev. Jerry Durham will officiate.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 to 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Margaret Martin, 5058 Royston Hwy., Hartwell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 130 Boleman Hill Road, Hartwell, GA30643.
