Mrs. Florence Evelyn Modesitt Lunt, age 94, of 261 Fairview Avenue, Hartwell, died Thursday, November 17, 2006 at Hart Care Center
Born March 4, 1912 in Brazil, IN, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Mimi Modesitt Schmidt.She was twice married, first to the late Edmund Henry Schroer and then to the late Robert Lunt.She was a retired secretary with the Sarasota, Florida School Board, a member of the Women's Club of Sarasota, and was an avid golfer and tennis player.Mrs. Lunt was also a member of the Faith Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Schroer of Hartwell; a son, Edmond Armund Schroer of Sarasota, FL; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Hartwell.
