Mrs. Floye Cobb Floyd of 331 Glendale Dr., Hartwell, Ga., died Sunday, February 10, 2008 at her home.
Born March 3, 1937 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Will A. Cobb and Dahlia Lewis Cobb.She was a homemaker and former employee of Hartwell Company. She was a member of Hartwell Church of God.
She is survived by:Daughters, Wanda Daves and her husband, Johnny ofHartwell, GA, and Lynn Dove of Athens, GA; Sister, GenevaCantrell of Hartwell, GA; Grandchildren, Scott Daves, Justin Daves, Michelle Dove & George Kennedy andAshley Dove; Great grandchildren, John Daves, Will Daves, Alex Daves and Carsyn Kennedy.She was preceded in death by Parents; Husband, Jasper S. Floyd; Seven sisters and Three brothers.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Revs. Lonnie Bennett, Tony Goodwin and Howard Conine will officiate.
Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home.
