Obituary
Mr. Ford McRae Meredith Jr., 91, of Circle Drive, Gray Court SC, died Friday, December 6 at his home.
Born on May 2, 1922 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Ford M. Meredith Sr. and Minnie Watkins Meredith Kinard.He was a retired First Chief Engineer, serving in the U.S. Merchant Marines.
Survivors include a daughter: Cindy M. Hughes of Calhoun Falls SC; two sons: David Meredith of Gray Court SC and Phillip Meredith of Simpsonville SC; a step-son: Darwin Meredith of Arizona and a step-daughter: Cynthia Maack of Arizona also survives.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 10 at 4:00 p.m. at the Northview Cemetery, Hartwell GA.
