Mrs. Frances Tallent Adams, 79, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.

Born on January 16, 1943 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Tallent Sr. and Rosalee Hill Tallent. Mrs. Adams a former shock inspector for Tenneco and a former beautician. She was also a member of the Price Chapel Church of God, and a wonderful Mother & Grandmother.

She is survived by her two daughters: Judy Stovall and Janet Pearson, both of Hartwell; one brother: Dewitt Tallent Jr. of Hartwell; four sisters: Rachel Boles of Hartwell, Shirley Freeman of Hartwell, Linda Fowler of Crawfordville, GA; and Doris McCurley of Hartwell. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jeff Stovall (Joy), Kristy Schaefer (Thomas), J.R. Pearson; Future Sadler; and three great grandchildren: Aidan & Ethan Stovall, and Samuel Schaefer. Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Jimmy "Bo" Adams; one brother: Jerry Tallent; and two sisters: Shelby Campbell and Kathleen Jones.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

A Celebration of Mrs. Frances Adams' life will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Tony Franks, Rev. Gary McCurley and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
