Mrs. Frances Hardeman Brown, 69, of Hartwell, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Born on December 20, 1955 in Carrollton, GA, she was the daughter of the late  Alvin Vernice Hardeman and Mary Elizabeth Jordan Hardeman. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker, and a member of the Bethany Christian Church of Carrollton, GA. She was also a former para-pro for the Carroll Co. School System, and an assistant director for Kinder Care in Douglasville, GA.

Survivors include her husband: William Michael "Mike" Brown of Hartwell; son: Jeffrey Brown (Angie) of Carrollton; one sister: Martha Shade (Bruce) of Bradenton, FL; and six grandchildren: Hanna, Josiah, Ezra, Lexi, Keelee, and Sylvia.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Walt Hardeman; and two sisters: Lucy & Barbara Hardeman.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at the home.

Graveside services for Mrs. Frances Brown will be Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Dr. Stuart Lang officiating.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
