Mrs. Frances Marvine Decker, age 71, of Rex, GA, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at her home.
Born June 1, 1943, in Valley Park, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Evelyn Virginia (Nixon) Poertner. She was a beautician and a member of North Henry Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Timothy Lamar Decker; son: Stephen Decker; siblings: Marvin Poertner, Jr., Donna Poertner, and Bruce Poertner; and four grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Kelly Hernandez; and son: David Traylor.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA with Rev. Stan Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the service. The family requests no flowers.
