Frances (Priester) Patton, age 98, of Greenville, SC, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.
Born December 3, 1922 in Clyde, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Ellis and Lillie (Schuman) Priester. Before retirement she worked as Food Service Director for Brevard County School System. Mrs. Patton was a member of Lavonia First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Earnest L. Patton; and a son: Melvin S. Patton.
She is survived by her children: Marion E. "Dick" Patton of Hartwell and Susan (Patton) Abbott of Greenville; grandchildren: Alicia (Patton) Richwine, Michelle Patton and Kristin (Patton) Marion.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Lavonia First Baptist Church.
