Mr. Franklin David "Frank" Sanders, 83, of Uly White Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at his home.

Born on July 5, 1940 in Hartwell, GA, he was the son of the late David Samuel Sanders and Hazel Hendrix Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a maintenance technician for Monroe/Tenneco and a farmer. Frank was also an avid hunter, and a member of the Bethesda Methodist Church. Mr. Sanders was also a US Army veteran.

Survivors include two sons: James David Sanders (Tracy), Gregory Cain Sanders (April), all of Hartwell; one daughter: Angela S. McGee (Nick) of Hartwell; one brother: Billy Ray Sanders (Carolyn) of Hartwell; one sister: Imogene Evans (James Earl) of Hartwell; and four grandchildren: Sadie Blackmon, Audrey McGee, Kolby Sanders, Sydney Sanders.  Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Patsy Faye Hilley Sanders; and one brother" Stephen L. Sanders.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  The family will be at the home of Angie and Nick McGee, 7230 Bowman Hwy, Hartwell, GA

Funeral services for Mr. Frank Sanders will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Pitts officiating.  Burial will be in the Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery.
