Mr. Franklin Delano "Frank" Eaves, 75, of 2570 Liberty Hill Road, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Hart County Hospital.

Born March 1, 1933 in Hart County, Georgia, he was the son of the late George Eaves and Etta Chastain Eaves.He retired from BASF in 1993 as a Mechanic.He was a member of Milltown Baptist Church, Chairman of Board of Deacons, Member and Teacher of Men's Sunday School Class, Served on the Finance Committee; Former Fireman for Hart County Fire Department; An Avid Hunter and Sportsman.He was also a Staff Sergeant for the U. S. Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by:Wife, Edith McCannon Eaves of the home; Daughters, Kathy Wood and her husband Larry of Bowersville, GA, Karen Stacks and her husband Mike of Hartwell, GA; Daughter in law, Alice Eaves of Athens, GA; Brother, Hubert Eaves of Hartwell, GA; Five grandchildren, Jennifer Coile, Michael Wood, Ryan Eaves, Zachary Eaves and Kevin Ginn; Five great grandchildren, Cade Carter, Katelyn Carter, Jacob Coile, Daniel Wood and Jonathan Wood also survive.He is preceded in death by his Parents; Sons, David Eaves and Daniel Eaves; Five brothers and Five Sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. John R. Silver and Mr. Fred Greenway will officiate.Burial will be in the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Ray Black officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m.The family is at home.
