Mrs. Frankie Lee Copeland Knight, 85, of West Howell Street, Hartwell, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at home.

Born on December 25, 1930, in Ringgold, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Franklin Copeland and Katherine Elizabeth Williams Copeland. Mrs. Knight was a retired office clerk for Cavalier Vending Co. and was of the Baptist faith.She also was a former member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her son: Levoy Knight and his wife Deann Bell Knight of Hartwell; eight grandchildren: Jason Jones, Jon Jones, Sonya Knight, Stacy Knight, Lindsey Knight, Ian McDonald, Levoy Knight, Jr, Zachary Knight; two step-grandchildren: Caroline Sanders, Sarah Frances Smith; three great-grandchildren: Bryce Jones, Annie Britt Jones, Maleah Knight; one brother: Robert Copeland; one sister: Katherine Kirby and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: James Verdell Knight; one daughter: Jackie Jones; and one brother: Charles Copeland.

Graveside services will be Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Anderson Memorial Gardens in Ringgold, GA.
