Frankie Howard "Shag" Roberts, age 59, of Canon, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home.

Born October 8, 1962, in Franklin County, he was the son of Doris (McGill) Roberts and the late Roy Roberts. He was a cabinet maker with Premier Kitchens. He was a member of the Athens Moose Lodge # 767. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years: Susan (Lord) Roberts; son: Dale Roberts; daughter: Dawn Roberts; sisters: Kris Carle and Tracy Roberts; and grandchildren: Makiya Teasley, McKenzie Teasley, and Dalex Roberts.

Come help Celebrate Frankie's Life on March 5th, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn & Suites Hotel, in the meeting room (115 Owens Drive, Lavonia, GA 30553). If you would like to bring a covered dish you are more than welcome to do so, if not, that will be fine as well. Just come and celebrate and have fun sharing your memories with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
