Mr. Furman William Kay, 55, of North Church Street, Winterville GA, died Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Norco CA.

Born on April 1, 1958 in Anderson SC, he was the son of Janice Page Kay and the late Edgar Kay.Mr. Kay was a graduate of University of Georgia, where he received a Master's degree in Agriculture Engineering, owner/operator of GainesKay LLC and a member of the Winterville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Janice P. Kay of Hartwell; his wife, Susan Gaines Kay of Winterville; a son, Cainan Kay of Decatur; two daughters, Lora Bryant & her husband Josh of Winder and Annelise Allgood & her husband Shyanne of Athens; a sister, Chris Nash of Hartwell and three grandchildren, Bailey Anna Bryant, Avery Kayt Bryant and Emery Clare Bryant.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 22 at 4:00 p.m. at the Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Hartwell with Rev. Brian Smith & Rev. Kathleen Deegan-Neal officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. The family are at their respective homes.
