Gail Downs Pless, 76, of Simpsonville, wife of Tom Pless, died Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Born in Waynesville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Reverend James E. and Clara Fields Downs.
Gail was a registered nurse, and was of the Baptist Faith.She graduated from Canton High School.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, she is survived by two daughters, Sherri Lynn Pitts and Christy Ann White; five grandchildren, Madison Pitts, Grayson Thomas, Kaley, Carson and Emma Massengale, and a sister, Vivian Cobb.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery, Lavonia, GA.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice, 421 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
