Ms. Gale Lovingood, age 60, of Bowman Street, Lavonia, passed away from complications of cancer Monday, June 11, 2018 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain surrounded by her family.
Born April 20, 1958, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Helene (Alewine) Lovingood.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law: Lana & Shannon Seymour of Acworth; daughter: Lauren Cobb of Lavonia; grandchildren: Karis and Carson Seymour of Acworth; sister & brother-in-law: Jill & Tony Duncan of Canon; nephew: Avery Duncan of Canon; niece: Sara Duncan of Canon; and significant other: Gary Dyer of Canon.
A celebration of Gale's life will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia with Dr. Larry Finger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Gale Lovingood to the Wellstar Foundation / Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, 805 Sandy Plains Road, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30066.
