Mrs. Caroline Garland Burley Craft, 89,of Collier Road, Hartwell died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.
Born on August 1, 1925 in Westminster, SC she was the daughter of the late Charles Grayson Burley and Mildred Simmons Burley.She was a registered nurse for thirty years at Greenville Memorial Hospital and a former head nurse. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church, past president and member of both the Solid Rocks and the Ladies One Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her husband: J. C. Craft; four sons: Stephen Craft and his wife Diane of Greenville, SC, Charles Craft and his wife Tess of Lexington Park, MD, Michael Craft and his wife Carmen of Greer, SC and Ed Craft and his wife Melissa of Lexington, SC; five grandchildren: Jason Craft, Joshua Craft, Justin Craft, Carley Craft and Jasmine Craft; two sisters: Betty Messer and Maxine Moody also survives.She was preceded in death by one sister: Doris Wohlwinder.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
