Mr. Gene Randall Bennett, age 65, of Honea Path, SC, died Wednesday, July 20, 2016 in Costa Rica.
Born August 1, 1950 in Lavonia, he was the son of the late Albert, Sr. and Ferrell Elliott Bennett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Christopher Gene Bennett; and brothers: Bobby Bennett and Albert Bennett, Jr. He is survived by a daughter-in-law: Myrna Bennett Stewart of Costa Rica; grandchildren: Amanda Renee Bennett and Christopher Kyle Bennett; son Rod Bennett of Lavonia; and sister: Nell McElmoyle of Greenville.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Lavonia City-Burgess Cemetery.
