Mr. Calvin Eugene "Boolie" Donald, 74, of 67 Heritage Road, Hartwell, died Friday, October 4 at his home.

Born on October 30, 1938 in Fair Play SC, he was son of the late Robert Donald and Cecil Brady Donald.He was retired from the quality control department of Owens Corning Fiberglas and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Woody Donald of the home; two sons: Robert Donald & his wife Melissa of Anderson SC and Edward Donald of Hartwell; a daughter: Mary Edens & her husband Brian of Royston; three brothers: Wade Donald and Lloyd Donald both of Pendleton SC and Gary Donald of Hartwell; three sisters: Susie Brock and Mae Byrum both of Hartwell and Ann Alewine of Minnesota; two grandson: Garrett Donald and Ethan Donald.He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Dale Price and Mr. Henry Freeman officiating.Burial will be in the Zidon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The family is at the home. Flowers optional, special memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson SC 29621.
