Mrs. Geneva Bennett Robertson Stoyle, 90, of 2639 Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Hart County Hospital.
Born on November 13, 1921 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Bud Bennett and Georgia Toney Bennett.She was a retired seamstress for the Hartwell Company and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Heyward Robertson and his wife Lynda of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Ashley Lynn Robertson of Hartwell and Kara Leigh Tiffany and her husband Matt of Athens; and one great-grandchild: Tyson Tiffany also survive.Mrs. Stoyle was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband: Gilbert Arnold Robertson; and her second husband: William "Bill" Stoyle; three brothers: Bush Bennett, Boyd Bennett and Hershel "Hut" Bennett; and five sisters: Ophelia Martin, Polly Crump, Azalee Beatenbough, Robbie Tennant, and Faye Chandler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Scott Mize and Rev. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will follow at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell where the family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday.Flowers are optional and the family requests special memorials be made out to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Youth Fund, 2973 Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, GA30643. The family is at the home of Heyward and Lynda Robertson, 2631 Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, GA.
