George Otis Warren, age 79, formerly of Lavonia, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Camilla Place Assisted Living in Woodstock.
He was born February 18, 1941, in El Dorado, Arkansas, the son of the late Otis Albert Warren and Rilla Culpepper Warren. Prior to retirement he worked as a self-employed Field Service Engineer. After retirement, he moved to Lavonia with his wife, the late Mary Babb Warren. He was a staple of Lavonia, riding his bicycle through town every day, as long as his health allowed. He was a member of the Lavonia First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother: Albert Warren.
He is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law: Gigi & Fred Barth and Windy & Casey Fortenberry; and grandchildren: Adam Barth, Skylar Barth, Dylan Barth, and Beckham Fortenberry.
