Mr. Gerald W. Pruitt, 51, of 155 New Prospect Rd., Hartwell, died Friday, December 22, 2006 at his home.

Born on May 10, 1955 in Fulton Co GA, he was the son of Ermina Ree Hilley Dennington of Hartwell and the late Juno William Pruitt.He was a member of the Hapeville Baptist Church, Hapeville GA.

Survivors include his mother of the home; a son: Justin A. Pruitt of Athens, GA and a brother: Ronald D. Winn of Anderson SC.

Mr. Pruitt wished to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Mike Morris officiating.The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon before the memorial service.Memorials may be made to the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 6905 Concord Rd., Cumming GA30040.
