Mr. Robert Gerald Seigler, 72, of Hartwell, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.

Born on August 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Robert L. Seigler and Geneva Hicks Seigler.Mr. Seigler was a retired Hart EMC lineman for 43 years, and he attended Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was also a member of the Savannah Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife: Judy Moore Seigler of Hartwell; five children: Brian Seigler of Bowersville, Leanne Roberts (Joey) of Elberton; Jennifer Worley (Shane) of Hendersonville, NC, David Black (Kayla) of Colbert, GA, and Kelly Harris (Tim) of Gilbert, SC; two sisters: Linda Hayes (James) of Bowersville and Jane Wright of Hartwell; eight grandchildren: Taylor Cleveland (Tanner), Macy Roberts, Riley Roberts, Boston Black (Miranda), Avery Worley, Brooklyn Worley, Jackson Harris, Landon Harris; and one great-grandchild: Olivia Cleveland.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Seigler will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Don Nestor officiating.Burial will be in the Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family has requested that Hart EMC Lineman sit as honorary pallbearers
