Gilbert Robert Ellard, age 64, of Canon, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 at his home.

Born June 5, 1960, in Newnan, he was the son of the late Robert Melvin Ellard and Margaret Abercrombie. He was a self-employed laborer, who always took pride in working hard and doing the best he could. In his time away from work, he enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his companion, Pam Deaton; sons, Chris Ellard, Jason Ellard, Andrew Ellard, and C. J. Ellard; children, Zachery Fulghum and Danielle Fulghum; granddaughter, Michelle Lewis along with many other grandchildren; and great-granddaughter: Shiloh Covington. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brittney Lewis.
