Laura Regina "Gina" Sims Pruitt, age 58, of Lavonia, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

Born April 23, 1967, in Gulfport, MS, she was the daughter of the late James Clyde and Melrose Taylor Sims. She worked at TNS Mills as a Spinner Operator. She attended Ruhamah Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by brothers: William Larry Taylor and Dennis Ray Sims; sister: Donna Marie Mays; nieces and nephews: Kenneth Sims, Brandy Taylor, Kimberly Dyar, Amanda Lack, Melissa Adams, Jennifer Hodge, Stacey Bragg, Michael Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Brian Pruitt.

The family has chosen cremation and no formal services are planned at this time.
