Mrs. Gladys Fleming Willis, 89, of Reed Creek Community, Hartwell, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at Brown Health & Rehab in Royston, GA.

Born on November 22, 1929 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late John Fleming and Nora Gilliam Fleming. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include one brother: Hailey Fleming of Commerce and one sister: Johnnie Fleming Wilson (Jimmy) of Hartwell.Mrs. Willis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Wintford Willis; one son: Jimmy Willis; one brother: Louis Fleming; and two sisters: Emma Fleming Farr and Ruby Lee Fleming Vickery.

Graveside services for Mrs. Willis will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Fleming officiating.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
