Glenda Yvonne Drawdy, age 76, of Lavonia, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home.

She was born June 1, 1947, in Albany, GA, the daughter of the late Joseph Franklin Drawdy and Isabelle Harris Drawdy. She retired as a nurse's assistant at Phoebe Putney Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Pittman; and brother: Joseph "Uncle Buddy" Drawdy, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law: Michelle & Michael Lee of Waycross and Mary Ann & Patrick Cartwright of Lavonia; son: Franklin Smith of Waycross; brother: Roger Drawdy of Humboldt, TN; sisters: Nita Bridges of Perry, Vonice (Dave) Black of Trenton, TN, and Diane (Kent) Hudson of Newton; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ms. Drawdy was cremated in accordance with her request. The family will plan a private memorial service at a later date.
