Mrs. Glenda Lee Stowe Fleeman, 78, of Canon, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.

Born on January 18, 1947 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Stowe and Roxie Lee Hunter Stowe.  Mrs. Fleeman was a homemaker, loved gardening, planting flowers, babysitting and taking care of her grandchildren and family.  She also was of the Church of God faith and loved church and family gatherings.

Survivors include her son: Ronald Fleeman (Shirley) of Royston; five daughters: Cheryl Bradshaw (Scott) of Canon, Susan Fleeman of Canon, Lynn Holland (Todd) of Canon, Catherine Cawthon (Jamie) of Royston, and Cassie Heddleson (David) of Canon; a sister: Wanda Dove (Robert) of Canon and eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive.  Mrs. Fleeman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Robert E. Fleeman; a brother: John Stowe and a sister: Betty Carter.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.  Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Glenda Lee Fleeman will be Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ledford and Rev. Fred Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
