Mrs. Glenda (Fulghum) Jordan, age 66, of Lavonia, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at her home.
Born April 19, 1948, in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late: R.C. and Anna (Alewine) Fulghum. She worked with Brown Memorial Convalescent Center as an LPN.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas Edward "Eddie" Jordan; sons & daughters-in-law: Tommy & Karen Jordan and Bobby & Penny Jordan; daughter & son-in-law: Beth & Chris Bishop; grandchildren: Kristin Webb, Faith Jordan, Juliane Webb, Tommy Jordan, Grace Jordan, Camille Jordan & Maury Atha; sisters: Connie Roberson, Janice Adams & Emily Wright; and brother: Wayne Fulghum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: Ernest Fulghum, Gene Fulghum, Melvin Fulghum & Claude Fulghum.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Jordan and Dr. Joe Renfro officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
